A Rare Find

Easily the most unusual look that we spotted today, John’s outfit belies the fact that he spends only about 15 minutes getting ready each morning. “The extra time in bed is probably the most important part of my beauty routine,” he says. “The pony tail and beard also reduce grooming.” This humorous Brit has been working in banking for 15 years, but is actually also a qualified archaeologist. He has had no problems adapting, though, and says that communication and cooperation are crucial for effectively achieving a work-life balance: “Remember that you and the work-giver are a team.” On his time off, John likes to explore the various dining options that Singapore has to offer, and balances this with some exercise. “I have recently started running, and by that I mean slow jogging with bursts of walking. It doesn’t match so well with my eating appetite, but I assure myself the benefits of the exercise is in developing my legs through supporting the heaviness of the rest of me.”
